Why This Work Exists

Ruha Rising was created from years of witnessing what happens when people finally feel safe enough in their bodies to slow down and listen.

Again and again, I saw the same moment:
when tension softens, when the body exhales, when someone realizes their body isn’t something to push through — it’s something to partner with.

Ruha Rising exists to support that moment of reconnection — gently, intentionally, and without force.

It’s a practice that combines movement, breath awareness, nervous system regulation, and embodiment so you can reconnect with your power, presence, and clarity. Ruha Rising isn’t about doing it “right” — it’s about coming home to yourself, trusting your body, and discovering how to move through the world with confidence, groundedness, and joy.

What Makes My Work Unique

This work begins with movement, not analysis.
Not choreography. Not performance.

Just honest, intuitive movement

guided by what your body is ready for.

There is no “right” way here.
No perfect breath.
No correct posture.

Your body sets the pace.
Your experience leads the way.

Who This Work Is For

This work may be supportive for you if:

  • You feel disconnected from your body or yourself

  • You’ve done a lot of “talking” but still feel something stuck

  • You’re tired of trying to heal the right way

  • You want to feel more grounded, present, and at home in yourself

  • You’re curious about listening to your body instead of pushing through

 

You don’t need to have the words.
You don’t need to know where to start.
Curiosity is enough.

How I Hold Space

My role is to be grounded, present, and attuned — so you don’t feel like you’re navigating your inner world alone.

 

I’m here to support you as you explore what arises, without judgment and without pressure to “do it right.”

Nothing needs to be fixed.

Ruha Rising offers somatic consultation, movement-based support, that is educational and experiential. This work is not psychotherapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and it does not replace licensed mental health or medical care.

You remain responsible for your own well-being and choices. My role is to provide a supportive, grounded presence and tools that help you deepen awareness, connection, and self-trust.

If at any point additional or different support is needed, I encourage honoring that and seeking appropriate care.
